Transport

Your trip to Spain will not be a problem. You can choose to travel there by car, boat, train or bus, but Spain also has 105 airports throughout the country. 33 of these airports offer international flights. The most important airports are the ones in Madrid (Barajas Airport) and Barcelona (El Prat Airport). The airport in Barajas has the largest airport terminal in the world and aims to become one of the main airports in Europe.

When you want to travel within the country during your winter holiday in Spain, the state company RENFE is at your disposal with a variety of rail connections. You can also use the high-speed lines called AVE. It is easy to plan your trip via the websites of the above-mentioned companies. These websites are also available in English.
Furthermore, six large cities in Spain, including Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Seville have an underground railway system.
