Winter vacationing in Italy
Italy has an enormous cultural wealth, magnificent wildlife, a beautiful countryside, but also beautiful beaches and of course, excellent cuisine. Add to that the fact that the largest part of Italy has a Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters, it’s logical that Italy is a favorite destination for many.
The "boot" as Italy is sometimes known, is located in the South of Europe and is surrounded for the most part by the Adriatic and Mediterreanean Seas, in the North Italy borders the Alps. This unique location has contributed to a country that is rich with culture and that has great climate diversity. In the South, the country has an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius in the winter months, while you can go skiing in the North. Bella Italia does its name so much justice.
It’s not for nothing that Italy was discovered by winter vacationers many years ago, the country has much to offer such as the amazing constructions in Rome, Florence and don’t forget Pisa and Verona. Then add the perfect mild climate and the winter vacationer cannot get around putting Italy on his/her favorites list.
