Casa Ventura: Child Free One Bedroom Self Catering Ground Floor Villa Cottages is situated in the hamlet of Falfosa, only 2 kilometres away from the village of Santa Barbara de Nexe. Although peaceful and rural, it is only a 15 minute drive from Faro Airport and local beaches.
The villa consists of four, one bedroom villa cottages all with sliding doors from living area and bedrooms
onto a large landscaped garden with private swimming pool. Two of the villa cottages (Carob and Olive), look toward the swimming pool, and the other two, (Almond and Fig) lead onto a lovely private area of
the garden with a fountain feature.
 
Each villa cottage is tastefully furnished and consists of a spacious living/dining area,
kitchenette, full bathroom and large double bedroom.
Living / Dining Area
The living/dining area has two large comfortable sofas, coffee table, ceiling fan, flat screen colour television with Freesat (the satellite equivalent of Freeview) and DVD player. A selection of DVD´s, board and card games are available on request.
The dining area seats four comfortably and a well stocked bookcase offers plenty of holiday reading. All of the living areas open onto traditional covered patios with garden views, private barbeque, lounger and a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
Kitchenette
The kitchenette is fitted with a two plate stove, microwave/grill oven, fridge/freezer and well
equipped with crockery, glassware, saucepans, utensils, toaster and coffee maker.
A welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, butter, ham, cheese, bottled water, tea, coffee and a bottle of
Portuguese wine awaits your arrival.
 
Bedrooms
The bedrooms are all air conditioned, have a huge double bed (or singles on request), fitted wardrobes containing a small safe and a ceiling fan. All of the bedrooms open onto the outside covered
patio.
Bathrooms
Three of the bathrooms (Carob, Olive and Fig) are fitted with a full bath with overhead shower, wc and washbasin. Almond villa cottage is fitted with a large walk-in shower (no bath), wc and
washbasin.
Laundry Area
A separate laundry area is available for guests to use, housing a washing machine, iron, iron board and a large freezer.
 
The large established garden has an abundance of beautiful palms trees, tropical flowers with mature fig,
almond, olive and carob trees. A large salt water swimming pool (10 x 5m), sundeck, with
sun loungers, umbrellas, pool towels and communal barbecue area as well as a summer house offering shade and relaxation are all available for guests.

Casa Ventura is within 2 kms of the popular and well-known village of Santa Barbara, where you will find a selection of restaurants, bars, a post office, hairdresser, mini market, a pharmacy, doctor, dentist and a petrol station. There is also a nearby supermarket, ideal for daily fresh provisions, and there is an
excellent restaurant and a bakery approximately 1 km away. Casa Ventura is in an ideal location for exploring the Algarve – a mere 2 kms away from the IP1 (main highway running east/west along the coast).
Centrally situated, it is within a 10 minute drive of Faro Island (the local beach), Faro airport, the quaint market town of Loule with its famous market and an array of restaurants. The old historic city of Faro, the capital of the Algarve is a similar distance away, and for the more adventurous, Lisbon and Seville are
each around a 2.5 hour drive. Car hire is essential, which can be organised for you and collection at airport
can be arranged. Other nearby amenities are golf courses, water parks and restaurants.
